Drone Crop Spraying Malaysia

What CAAM’s UAWC means when you hire a drone

You do not need to become an aviation expert, but a few questions protect you.

The short version

CAD 6011 Part (II) says agricultural UAS activities need a valid certificate issued by CAAM. Remote pilots doing commercial agricultural work need RCoC-B with Module 2 (AGR), according to CAC 01/2025.

Questions worth asking

  • Can I see your current UAWC and the pilot’s RCoC?
  • Is the product you will use registered and recommended for UAS application?
  • What insurance covers damage to neighbours?
  • Will I get a written spray record?
